Wernigerode, Zentrum am Ochsenteich, Planning concept

The planning for the centrally located brown-field aimed at improving the quality of life and the length of stay of visitors in Wernigerode. The prospected commercial units were supposed to effect synergies on the surrounding area, but also on Wernigerode as a whole. The challenge was to integrate urban, traffic, and green development not only into the existing structure of the city, but also into formerly existing structures.
